Editorial policy
These are the rules the pages on this site are written against. They exist because a site paid on orders has an incentive to exaggerate, and rules are the only thing that reliably counters an incentive.
Sourcing
Product facts — name, price, currency, market, stated composition and stated directions of use — come from the documentation supplied by the distributor for that market. Where that documentation is silent, the page says it is silent.
General information about matcha — cultivation, processing, caffeine, L-theanine, catechins — is written as background about the plant and the beverage. It is deliberately never framed as an effect of a particular commercial product, because research about a compound is not evidence about a product.
What we treat as a forbidden claim
Statements that a product acts on a medical condition in any way. Statements of a result in kilograms, centimetres, sizes or percentages. Statements attaching any of the above to a timeframe. Statements ruling out adverse reactions. Statements that a product can replace prescribed treatment.
These are forbidden in body copy, in headings, in meta descriptions, in structured data and in reviews. A claim does not become acceptable because someone else said it.
How reviews are handled
The review sections publish a selection of the comments received. They are representative examples of user experience, they do not reproduce one named person’s message word for word, and they are not a promise of results. That statement appears above every review block on the site.
We moderate them: comments describing weight lost, timeframes, medical improvements or an absence of adverse reactions are not published, because a page cannot make through a customer a claim it may not make itself. Ratings shown in structured data are calculated from the review cards actually rendered on the page — never typed in by hand.
We do not display purchase-verification badges. We have no way to verify a purchase, so such a badge would assert something untrue.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, tell us at hello@matchaslim360.com and we will correct it or take the page down. That includes a manufacturer telling us we have described their product incorrectly.
